I think Mr Brown got it wrong.
He didn't retire... He quit becuase he hates his boss and feels trapped

Brown is a clown. He says Palmer signed the contract and should honor his commitment. So, how many players has Brown released before their contract/commitment has expired? Brown committed to those contracts, can't have it both ways.RE: Mike Brown's quote about Palmer not honoring his committment. - What about Brown's committment to field a competitive football team?
And how is Brown showing any commitment to winning by holding on to Palmer?Brown is a clown. He says Palmer signed the contract and should honor his commitment. Now, could we get a reporter with the stones to actually put that to Brown.Brown is a clown. He says Palmer signed the contract and should honor his commitment. That's the stupidest most pigheaded thing I've ever heard. (I mean Brown, not you Gee)
They're not "rewarding" Palmer by trading him, they'd just be doing the smart thing and actually getting something back for him instead of him just retiring and being totally screwed. The Bengals could get a LOT out of a Plamer trade, that's just plain dumb.
Seriously, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. The ownership is sacrificing the good of the team in order to win a pissing contest. Just trade him and get something for it.
The worse part of it is, I could totally see our organization handling a similar situation the exact way.
You mean like they did with Aeneas Williams. Oh wait...
