Mics caught Caitlin Clark's classy exchange with Brazil coach during Fever game

Fever guard Caitlin Clark had several awesome moments during Sunday's preseason game against Brazil, but one with Brazil's coach was especially sweet.

Clark and the Fever traveled to Iowa to take on Brazil as part of the WNBA's ongoing effort to bridge the gap between college, the league and international play. It allowed Clark to bring her teammates to Carver-Hawkeye Arena, where she built her college basketball legacy. "I would love to be able to come back here every year," Clark said.

Of course, no trip back to Iowa would be complete without a signature logo 3-pointer. But that wasn't the only awesome moment of the day. Nearby mics picked up a very classy exchange between Clark and the head coach of Brazil. Here's that wholesome moment:

“You’re an amazing player," Leo Figueiro said. "Congratulations. You’ve changed the history in basketball.”

“I appreciate it," said Clark, smiling. "Thanks for coming here. Most people you’ve played in front of?”(Iowa had 15,000 people in the building.)

“Yeah,” Figueiro chuckled.
