Even after a heartbreaking defeat, the Los Angeles Rams stuck together. Teammates have backed Xavier Smith after his costly fumble in the second half, while Sean McVay has shared his love and appreciation for this team.

Puka Nacua and Kobie Turner, fellow draftmates in 2023, have become close over the last three years, and after Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawksin the NFC title game, they had an inspiring conversation as they were walking off the field.

It’s the type of chat that shows how close-knit and special the 2025 Rams were, something McVay has said time and time again – which is what makes this ending such a tough pill to swallow.

Turner: “I love you, man. What a year, bro.”

Nacua: “Love you, too, brother.”

Nacua: “Come on, I’m here with you. Lean on me, bro. I’m comin’ in with you.”

Turner: “Appreciate you.”

Nacua: “Hey, this won’t be the end of us.”

Turner: “Yup, and we’re going to get right back at it, brother. We’re going to be right back ready. We’ve got to work just as hard. We’re going to be right back here next year. We’re going to win it all. Going to win it all. Love you, brother.”

It wouldn’t surprise anyone if the Rams were back in the NFC Championship Game again next year, or if they went a step further and won the Super Bowl. Of course, that hinges on Matthew Stafford returning but if he’s back, Los Angeles will have as good a chance as any to win a ring next season.

They’ve got a good core led by Nacua, Turner, Jared Verse, Byron Young, Kyren Williams, Kevin Dotson and Alaric Jackson, as well as two first-round picks and plenty of cap space. This is the year for them to reload and keep their Super Bowl window open.
