This is it, everything that Michigan basketball has been working for. Everything any team works for, hopes for, dreams for.

It's the national championship game, and the 1-seed Wolverines are set to face 2-seed UConn, a team that has won two of the previous three national championships. Michigan enters as the KenPom No. 1 team, while Connecticut is No. 9.

The maize and blue have run roughshod over every team it has faced in the NCAA Tournament, but with the Huskies being 6-0 in national championship games and having a 2-1 advantage over Michigan, the seeming disparity between teams this season must be discounted. Both teams have injured star players: Yaxel Lendeborg for Michigan (ankle, knee) and Solo Ball for UConn.

Whoever wins on Monday night will simply be known as national champions. Follow along with our live, in-game recap and analysis below.
