Michigan State big men Carson Cooper and Jaxon Kohler were not selected in this week's draft, but they'll still have an opportunity to make an NBA team.

Cooper, a 6-foot-11 center from Jackson, has signed what's reportedly a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. Kohler signed with his home-state Utah Jazz.

In his fourth season at Michigan State, Cooper set career highs in points (11.1), rebounds (7.1), and blocked shots (1.0), continuing steady progress that began his freshman season.

Cooper started all 35 games as a senior for the Spartans, who went 27-8 and reached the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16, falling to eventual national runner-up UConn.

Kohler also enjoyed a career year, setting new marks in points (12.5) and rebounds (8.9), while blossoming into a threat from 3-point range, where he shot 38.9% (58 of 149) after making just 19 in his first three seasons combined.
