The Miami RedHawks are one game away from college basketball immortality.
Only 20 teams have ever completed an undefeated regular season, with only three in the past 35 years. Sitting at 30-0, Miami University is right on the cusp of joining that exclusive club.
The final test comes on the road against bitter archrival Ohio University. The RedHawks will need to exorcise some Convocation Center demons to reach perfection, as they've lost 14 straight in Athens, Ohio. Ohio would love nothing more than to spoil Miami's perfect season.
Miami wouldn't just be the most recent undefeated team with a win. The 19th-ranked RedHawks would become the first Mid-American Conference team to ever finish a perfect regular season. A win in Athens would also go a long way to lock up an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
