PHILADELPHIA — First, it was the air quality from the Canada wildfires. Now, it is the looming thunderstorms in the Philadelphia area.

For the second time in three days, the start of the Mets and Phillies game has been pushed up by an hour. Saturday's game between the NL East foes will now begin at 3:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park.

The game was originally slated to begin at 4:05 p.m.

The Mets will be hoping to grab a series victory against the Phillies after taking the series opener, 4-1, on Thursday night behind two home runs from Francisco Alvarez.

Saturday's matchup is set to feature a pair of left-handers as the Mets' Sean Manaea (2-4, 4.56 ERA) takes on the Phillies' Jesus Luzardo (8-4, 3.51).
