The Memphis Grizzlies wrapped up their Salt Lake City Summer League schedule on Tuesday by falling to the Atlanta Hawks 96-82.

The matchup was missing some key faces on both sides, including No. 3 overall pick Cameron Boozer, No. 8 overall pick Kingston Flemings, No. 23 overall pick Zuby Ejiofor and some non-rookies who were impactful in previous games in Salt Lake City.

But with Las Vegas Summer League right around the corner, Tuesday served as a rest day for a number of players.

With the players who were on the floor, the Hawks got the best of the Grizzlies, and the star of the game was guard Devon Higgs. He had 22 very efficient points, as he went 7-for-9 from the field, 2-for-3 from deep and 3-for-4 from the line. He also added five rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

On the Memphis side, the leading scorer was guard Brendan Hausen, a rookie who actually didn't even start for the Iowa Hawkeyes this past season. Hausen found himself in the starting lineup for the Grizzlies on Tuesday and took advantage, finishing with 21 points behind a 5-for-11 shooting effort from 3-point range.

Memphis' bench was a major bright spot in the game. The team rolled with an eight-man rotation, and all three bench players were productive. For one, Jevon Porter had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Carson Cooper also reached double figures in scoring and finished with 12 points and five boards. Meanwhile, Zach Cleveland flirted with a double-double himself before finishing with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists.

It wasn't enough to get a win, but there were certainly some positive takeaways for the Grizzlies. The team missed the production of Boozer, its new franchise cornerstone who has already looked like a future star in his limited Summer League action. While he wasn't on the floor on Tuesday, he's expected to return in Las Vegas for more Summer League hoops.

The Grizzlies, who won their opener in Salt Lake City, ended up losing their next two games to finish 1-2 in Utah. If it's any consolation, their lone win came in dominant fashion, as they blew out the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-74.

Memphis will need to turn the page if it wants a chance to challenge for the title in Las Vegas. With a talented roster, the Grizzlies may have a chance to push for the Summer League crown if they can put it all together.
