Since when can the Padres spend like the Dodgers? They are eating $15 million a year to have BJ Upton sit on the bench to get a closer.

Yea, I get that... I guess I still have a hard time understanding the logic of dumping what could be one of the alltime great closers, just to rid yourself of BJ's contract...
