Hannah Green's victory at the HSBC Women's World Championship featured husband Jarryd Felton as her fill-in caddie. Green's regular looper, David Buhai, is stuck in the U.S. trying to get a green card. Green made sure to note after the win that she's sticking with Buhai. Felton, an Australian playing professional, won't be quitting his day job.

It's a rare thing for LPGA players to win with their husbands on the bag. Many husbands caddie but work for someone outside the family. Buhai, for example, is married to major champion Ashleigh Buhai. The pair met at a golf academy in Johannesburg and began dating long-distance nearly 20 years ago. After Buhai's caddie suffered a broken leg, David took a leave from his job in a shoe store and never went back, working for Ashleigh right up until they got married, when he picked up another bag.

Why the sudden change?

“Some people say it might be good to stay married,” Ashleigh once joked.

Here's a look at some of the LPGA players who have found the winner's circle with their husband on the bag.

Leta Lindley met husband Matt Plagmann in the parking lot of a golf course at age 19 while competing at the University of Arizona. Plagmann caddied for Lindley at LPGA Q-School during her senior year and then joined her on tour as a rookie in 1995 and never stopped. Lindley won the 2008 Corning Classic and 2024 U.S. Senior Women's Open with Plagmann on the bag.

Pernilla Lindberg was engaged to caddie Daniel Taylor when she beat Inbee Park in an eight-hole playoff at the 2018 ANA Inspiration on a Monday in the desert. The couple got married the following year. Last fall, Lindberg announced both her pregnancy and her retirement at a send-off event in Hawaii with Taylor by her side. She's due to give birth in March.

Maria McBride (formerly Hjorth) won five times on the LPGA. Husband Shaun McBride caddied full-time for his wife before they welcomed daughter Emily in 2009, when he moved over to the PGA Tour. Shaun was on the bag when Maria won the Avnet LPGA Classic in 2011 as his PGA Tour player, Bryce Molder, had the week off.
