The Washington Commanders entered the 2026 NFL Draft with several holes, but none so pressing that general manager Adam Peters couldn't select the best available player. The Commanders did an excellent job in free agency reshaping the defense, adding speed and explosiveness at all three levels, specifically at edge rusher.

Washington was a popular trade pick among teams picking in the top 10, but the Commanders stayed put and selected Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles at No. 7 overall. Overall, it was a balanced draft for Washington, picking players at six different positions, including four on offense and two on defense.

Fans were mostly happy with the Commanders' choices, particularly the first two.

Below is the Commanders' complete 2026 draft class, which started with Styles and ended with former Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis.
