Ryan Cochran-Siegle hopes to shine on the slopes in Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics for Team USA.
He's already got quite the background in skiing, both from his family and through his own comeback from injury.
His highlight event is the Super-G, which is on Wednesday.

A family gold medal history
Cochran-Siegle's aunt is Barbara Ann Cochran.
She won Olympic gold in the slalom in 1972.
The Cochran family also ran a ski school in Vermont, so they're kind of a big deal.
A broken neck
Cochran-Siegle fractured a vertebra in his neck in a crash in 2018 and had to miss a full season.
But by 2020, he had won his first World Cup race, proving he could make it back.

A 2022 silver medal
Cochran-Siegle won silver in the Super-G in 2022 at the Beijing Olympics.
This will be his chance to take one final step up that podium.
Ivy League
Cochran-Siegle went to Dartmouth.
That has nothing really to do with skiing, but it's still pretty cool.
