Alabama baseball is hosting super regionals for the first time under head coach Rob Vaughn.
Vaughn took the helm of the Crimson Tide in 2023 after a gambling controversy saw former head coach Brad Bohannon removed from the role. In spite of the adversity, the program still made the NCAA Tournament that year, winning regionals, but Vaughn has kept Alabama (40-19) in the postseason each year since.

Vaughn was the head coach at Maryland before making the move to Tuscaloosa. He inherited the program in 2018 after spending four years on the Terrapins staff as an assistant. His tenure was highlighted by Maryland's best regular season in program history as the Terps went 44-10 in 2022.
Vaughn's first coaching stop was as an assistant at his alma mater, Kansas State, where he was a catcher from 2006 to 2009. He went on to play for three teams in the minors between 2009 and 2010.
Vaughn became the first Crimson Tide baseball coach to make over $1 million after signing a $1.275 million deal last June. His contract runs through 2030.
