The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly backed out of a proposed trade that would have sent star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders to Baltimore.
The Raiders and Ravens had agreed to a deal on Friday that would have sent Crosby to Baltimore in exchange for the Ravens’ 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, but the deal could not have become official until the start of the NFL’s new league year at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The Raiders released a statement Tuesday night saying the Ravens "backed out of our trade agreement." The team said it would have no further comment.
The Athletic is reporting that Crosby didn't pass his physical.
Crosby signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension with the Raiders last year but had been the subject of trade speculation in recent months. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported Feb. 4 that the standout defender was ready to move on from the franchise.

Crosby, an Eastern Michigan product, has developed into one of the league’s top edge rushers since being drafted in the fourth round in 2019. In 110 career games, he has recorded 69.5 sacks and 164 quarterback hits while earning five Pro Bowl selections and two second-team All-Pro honors.
