Max Muncy -- the Los Angeles Dodgers one, not the A's guy -- decided to try the now-famous (or infamous, as some feel) torpedo bat on Wednesday night in an eventual win over the Atlanta Braves.

But unlike some Yankees or the ever-growing list of players using them, Muncy struggled by going 0-for-3 with the torpedo bat. So he decided to ditch it for his regular bat.

Guess what happened next? He hit a double and knocked in two runs. So, hey, maybe the torpedo bats aren't for everyone!

Check out the moment he got his hit and what he said about it below:

What Max Muncy said about getting rid of the torpedo bat

From Yahoo:

"Starting with that bat, it felt good, swing felt good, but after the Dylan Lee at-bat, I felt like the bat was causing me to be a little bit off-putting, a little bit in and out of the zone because my swings felt really, really good tonight, but maybe just a bit off. It was the last at-bat I just decided to back to my regular at-bat. Fortunately, I did not throw it."
