Apr. 7—MANKATO — The Bemidji State baseball team had a tough go of it on Monday in Mankato.

The Beavers, who were supposed to host Minnesota State but had the site flipped to Mankato due to weather, were swept in a pair of seven-inning games. The Mavericks won the opener 14-2 before completing the sweep with a 16-0 triumph.

Adrian Falcon had the lone extra-base hit in the series. Beau Thoma's 22-game hitting streak was snapped in Game 1.
