UFC Oklahoma City went down last night (Sat., July 18, 2026) in Oklahoma City, Okla., which saw Dricus du Plessis defeat Kamaru Usman via unanimous decision (recap here). In the co-main event, Christian Leroy Duncan also defeated Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision, while Chase Hooper submitted Mitch Ramirez via first-round submission (see it again here).

Who He Should Face Next: Title shot
I don’t care if Khamzat Chimaev gets an instant rematch against Sean Strickland later this year, but du Plessis gets the next title fight regardless if he has to wait. And something tells me “Stillknocks” would be more than happy to sit idle to see what happens in the coming months to wait for his shot at reclaiming the title. If for whatever reason Chimaev can’t go anytime soon, then a trilogy fight against division king, Sean Strickland, is on deck. By the way, du Plessis has two wins over “Tarzan.”

Winner: Christian Leroy Duncan
Who He Should Face Next: Joe Pyfer
Duncan won his fifth straight after defeating former title challenger, Jared Cannonier, in the co-headlining bout. A spot in the Top 10 could be in order, which means bigger and better fights moving forward. A fight against Pyfer sounds intriguing since both men are on the rise at 185 pounds. Pyfer is coming off a big win over Israel Adesanya, his fourth straight victory.

Winner: Chase Hooper
Who He Should Face Next: Terrance McKinney
Hooper snapped his two-fight losing streak with an impressive first-round submission win over Mitch Ramirez. Overall, Hooper has done rather well during his time inside the Octagon, but he needs to string together a few good wins to earn himself a spot in the Top 15, a tall order to say the least. A fight against McKinney sounds entertaining enough. “T-Wrecks” is coming off a tough loss at the hands of King Green at UFC 329 (see it again here), so he needs a win to get his confidence back.

Who She Should Face Next: Loopy Godinez
Re-booking Kline against Amanda Ribas would seem like a no-brainer since two ladies were set to throw down at this event before Ribas had to withdraw due to a minor health issue. After Kline defeated late replacement, Tabatha Ricci, it seems like re-booking that fight just doesn’t make much sense since Kline has won four straight while Ribas is on a three-fight skid. Jessica Andrade, No. 9, is on a three-fight skid, while Amanda Lemos, No. 8, has lost two straight. The only logical matchup that makes sense is Loopy Godinez, who had her two-fight win streak snapped at the hands of Tatiana Suarez at UFC 327.

Winner: Tommy McMillen
Who He Should Face Next: Kaan Ofli
With two straight technical knockout (TKO) wins under his belt to begin his UFC career, McMillen is already making waves in the Featherweight division. After his big win over Alberto Montes (see it again here), he called for a fight at Noche UFC on Sept. 12, which is set to go down in his home state of Arizona. If UFC wants to oblige him, pair him up against Ofli, who is currently riding a three-fight win streak after starting off his UFC career with two straight wins.
