We're now halfway to the cut for the 89th Masters Tournament. As the first round of the tournament wrapped up Thursday, players now know where they stand trying to make it to the weekend at Augusta National Golf Club and the first major title of the 2025 season.
Players now flip their positions in the tee order for the second round. The field splits in half down the middle, so those that played Thursday afternoon turn right back around and play Friday morning. The opening groups on Thursday wait until lunchtime to get their rounds started.
There is a chance of poor weather overnight and into the early morning in Augusta, which could affect these times. Be sure to check with AugustaChronicle.com for Friday morning updates.
