Sunday at the 2026 Masters could go many different ways.
Rory McIlroy entered the third round with a commanding lead, but a Saturday 73 gave the rest of the field a chance to catch up – and it did.
The 2025 Masters champion sits tied with Cameron Young at the top of the leaderboard at 11-under through 54 holes. Sam Burns is just a shot back, while the next 11 players are within six shots of the lead as Sunday dawns.
One of those 11 is two-time Masters champ Scottie Scheffler, who parlayed a Saturday 65 into a spot in striking distance with 18 holes to go.

Can McIlroy become the first to repeat at Augusta since Tiger Woods in 2002? Will Scheffler enter rarified air with his third green jacket, or will there be a new face at the Champions Dinner next year?
