The Denver Broncos have Super Bowl expectations going into the 2026 NFL season.

After handing out shoes to students at Kaiser Elementary School in partnership with UnitedHealthcare of Colorado last week, Broncos wide receiver and star returner Marvin Mims spoke to media members about the team's big aspirations.

"The team we have, the rush we have, how far we went last year — we're all expecting a Super Bowl this year," Mims said. "We want to go far. ... We kind of got a good taste of that last year, we got a nice little hot streak going, got in the playoffs, won the divisional round, got a bye week, which was huge. Won the divisional round and then had a close game in the [AFC] championship. So I think we all want to take that next step this next year."

Denver quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle on one of the final plays of the team's divisional-round playoff win over the Buffalo Bills in January, and many fans and pundits believe the Broncos would have reached the Super Bowl with a healthy Nix last season.

Nix is now on the mend and on track to be full-speed in time for training camp this summer. If Nix is healthy, Denver will have a legitimate opportunity to contend for a Super Bowl in 2026.
