Yes, Martay "otay" Jenkins could muff a punt as bad as Boldin but he also has been known to be a very good gunner and maybe that punt return might not have happened if he was screaming down the field. He might help out at WR, though I think Gilmore or Mcaddley is his recieving equal, but he sure would help out on special teams. You might think his wanted salary wouldn't be worth it but special teams cost us that game and his salary would mean the world if we were able to win that game. Football games can suck, you dominate another team only to get beat on special teams... but last I looked special teams is part of the game... proof- scoreboard, Lions beat Cardinals.

After being cut by the Falcons I don't think his wanted salary or the salary we had offered him before he left are even a consideration. The guy is out of the game and needs a job.

Kffl said they thought he would sign on Monday with Cincy, but here it is Wednesday and he's still not signed. I wonder if he's injured or something?

They probably threw a couple of balls to him in the parking lot, then told him to go ahead and get back in the cab.

I don't like the idea of signing Jenkins at all, but that's just me.

I posted yesterday that the speculation on kdus was that he may be headed back to atlanta..one of their receivers was injured against dallas.

Personally..I think the odds are very high that he will not be a Cardinal this year. If we wanted him (or if he wanted to play here) he would be practicing today. Martay and the Cardinals have probably permanently parted way. If one of our receivers has an injury that puts them on the shelf a few weeks - I speculate that nate poole or soliday would be brought back.
