The Marquette men's basketball team has its pairing for the Big East Tournament.
The Golden Eagles are the No. 7 seeding in the league bracket and will face 10th-seeded Xavier on March 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The winner will face second-seeded Connecticut on March 12. MU beat the Huskies in the regular-season finale on March 7.
The Golden Eagles and Xavier split their regular-season series. MU won, 66-65, on Jan. 7 at Fiserv Forum. The Musketeers won, 96-88, on Feb. 14 in Cincinnati.
MU and Xavier also met in the first round of the Big East tournament last season, with the Golden Eagles earning an 89-87 victory.
