• The Mariners made a flurry of moves yesterday, formally parting ways with Rob Refsnyder and Mitch Garver with the return of Brendan Donovan and the arrival of Taylor Ward.
• The Arkansas Travelers are sticking around in North Little Rock after the city came to a 20-year lease agreement with ownership group Diamond Baseball Holdings.

• Over the weekend, my favorite musical artist Ariana Grande released her eighth studio album petal. My take on this one is that it’s good, but she continues to pick the wrong songs to turn into singles. Only time will tell if any of these songs will crack my list of her Top 50 songs of all time.
