Good morning! Last night’s Mariners win had just about everything: a first inning Julio homer, a wacky obstruction call in the third inning, a dominant Bryan Woo outing, and an incredible moment for Colt Emerson’s first major league hit in the form of a three-run home run.

Bryce Miller will hope to build on the momentum from the 6-1 win as he takes the mound tonight at 6:40 PM against Chicago White Sox LHP Anthony Kay.

In Mariners news…​

• Luis Castillo has been moved to the bullpen prior to his “piggyback” start with Bryce Miller. It is assumed that Miller with throw the first four to five innings tonight and Castillo will follow with a few innings of relief.
• The Mariners announced a series of roster moves prior to last night’s game, including Patrick Wisdom’s activation from the IL and Leo Rivas heading back down to Triple-A Tacoma.
• Matt Brash is very close to returning from the IL after a pair of rehab outings in Triple-A Tacoma, and Gabe Speier is reportedly not far behind.
