Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi and Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement in principle over a potential summer move, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg. The Spaniard has given his commitment to join the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club as a free agent if they stay up. It is a huge boost for Spurs given Senesi’s quality and experience, and the North London club now have to ensure they stay up if they want the 28-year-old.
Tottenham are back in action against Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow and will be desperate to pick up their first Premier League victory of 2026. While Wolves are relegated, they will look to give Spurs a hard time tomorrow and win if possible, and Roberto De Zerbi and his men cannot afford to be lackadaisical.
