The women's UConn basketball team will face Syracuse tonight in the Second Round of the 2026 March Madness basketball tournament. The UConn Huskies are ranked No. 1 overall in the tournament and are the returning tournament champions. The two teams last met in the 2024 NCAA Second Round, with the Huskies defeating the Orange 72-64. (In fact, the Huskies have won their last 27 straight games against the Orange in both the regular season and postseason.) No. 9 Syracuse beat No. 8 Iowa State 72-63 in the first round. Monday's second-round game will take place at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, CT. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
