Manchester United have offered Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni a five-year deal, according to Spanish outlet AS journalist Jose Felix Diaz. Man United want to strengthen in the middle of the park and are looking to bring the 26-year-old Frenchman to Old Trafford. The Red Devils are hoping to agree personal terms with Tchouameni before holding talks with Madrid, and they have made him a ‘very good’ offer. It remains to be seen whether the France international is open to joining Man United following Jose Mourinho’s arrival at the La Liga club.
Tchouameni is currently at the World Cup and will finalise his future after the tournament. The Red Devils missed out on Mateus Fernandes, with the Portuguese joining Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham United. They have several other options on their radar but a move for the Madrid star appeals to them given his experience and quality. However, getting Madrid to sell him could prove tricky, especially if Mourinho insists the Frenchman is a big part of his plans for next season.
