Man gets life in jail in Porter death (AP)

A man who pleaded guilty in the beating death of former Villanova basketball star Howard Porter last year was sentenced Monday to life in prison without parole. Rashad Raleigh was sentenced as part of a plea agreement. The 29-year-old man pleaded guilty last month to first-degree murder in a deal that let him avoid prosecution for a triple murder.
