Make your choice for Times Reporter Athletes of the Week (Jan. 5-Jan.10)

The winter sports season has reached the halfway point for Tuscarawas-area student-athletes, and area high school teams will begin gearing up OHSAA postseason in the Times Reporter coverage area.

With the regular season coming to a close, Tuscarawas-area student-athletes tuned up for OHSSA postseason action with numerous standout efforts to be recognized from last week.

Take time to cast your vote for your choice during the Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week for Jan. 5-Jan. 10.

High school sports fans can vote in two polls this week to pick their top performance from the week before. The polls run until 5 p.m. Friday.

Winners will be announced on The Times-Reporter website. You can see the full list of winter winners so far below this week's polls.

Nominations for Athlete of the Week can be sent to [email protected] by noon Sunday. Please include the athlete's name, school and sport and a little about their accomplishment that week.

Dec. 1-Dec. 6: Myles Wolf, Claymont boys basketball, and Aubrie Wells, New Philadelphia girls basketball.

Dec. 8-Dec. 13: Reid Wells, New Philadelphia boys basketball, and Sofia Secrest, Strasburg girls basketball.

Dec. 15-Dec. 20: Grady Barkley, Malvern boys basketball, and Ella Debo, Malvern girls basketball.
