If a one-game series can be considered huge, it is this one. Fly to St Louis, then Nationals for 3 and Pirates for 3. Then back home for 3 with the Guardians before the trade deadline. Will we be buyers?

This game is the fault of the St. Louis Cardinals.

The league should not have let them decide the game time.

If it had been late morning or even a game played at noon, it would have been completed.

With a big stormfront moving in, those geniuses decided to make it a night game - which, of course, got rained out.

Made us stay much later into the night and show up late at our next city, IIRC.

All could have been easily avoided.
