The Milwaukee Bucks and superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo were unable to keep their season alive in Game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Despite holding a seven-point lead with just 40 seconds to go in overtime, the Bucks fell by a final score of 119-118 on a Tyrese Haliburton drive and score.
It was a disappointing way to close out what has been a disappointing season. Now, the questions revolving Antetokounmpo's future have grown very loud.
While the future is the big question for Milwaukee, Magic Johnson's prediction for the Bucks against the Pacers has come back to haunt him.
Before Game 1, Johnson boldly took to social media to share his prediction for the series. He predicted that Antetokounmpo would put Milwaukee on his back and lead the team to a series win.
"I changed my mind, I think Giannis Antetokounmpo will put the Milwaukee Bucks on his back and lead them to victory over the Indiana Pacers!" he wrote.

Despite the series loss, Antetokounmpo did put his team on his back. It just wasn't enough.
Throughout the five games in the series, he averaged 33 points per game to go along with 15.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists, a steal, and a block. He shot 60.6% from the floor and 69.8% from the free throw line.
No one could have asked him to do more. Indiana was simply too much to overcome and the torn Achilles suffered by Damian Lillard in Game 4 was a brutal gut punch as well for the Bucks.
Heading into the NBA offseason, Antetokounmpo is sure to be mentioned in a lot of rumors. There are some who believe he has played his last game in Milwaukee.
