The GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James will likely never have a definitive answer.

The ones who prefer Jordan's unquestioned dominance over the 1990s, with six titles in two different three-peats, won't change their mind. The same can be said about the ones who prefer LeBron's incredible longevity and relative dominance in an era of greater parity.

Former Orlando Magic point guard Nick Anderson opened up on the GOAT debate in an interview with ScoopB, declaring that the man he eliminated from the 1995 NBA playoffs, Michael Jordan, is the GOAT.

“I don’t think it complicates things… Michael Jordan, in my opinion, is the BEST player that I ever faced… No disrespect to LeBron... You had to live through MJ to really understand."

Anderson has personal stakes in this debate, as he played against Jordan 22 times over his career in the regular season (5-17) and 9 times in the playoffs (4-5). He retired in 2002, one year before LeBron James would be drafted into the NBA.
