India and Afghanistan meet for the final time on this tour when the third and final ODI takes place on Saturday, June 20, at the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
With the series already wrapped up 2-0 in their favour, India will be eager to round things off with a clean sweep, having looked sharp and clinical in both matches so far.
Harshit Rana's addition to the squad ahead of this match, following the completion of his rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, looks set to translate into an immediate playing eleven spot in Chennai.
He is expected to come in for Arshdeep Singh, who has played both of the previous matches in this series.
Rana's inclusion also gives India a capable batting option further down the order in the absence of the injured Nitish Kumar Reddy, while allowing the team management and selectors to evaluate his match fitness ahead of the upcoming tour of the UK.
Gurnoor Brar, who has featured in both matches so far, may also be given an extended look across different conditions as part of the broader assessment process.

The MA Chidambaram Stadium of Chennai is known for its assistance for the spinners, but in ODI cricket, it also offers something to the batters.
The wicket is expected to be rather flat from what the trend has been in recent years, and we can expect another high-scoring match.
There are low chances of dew in Chennai in the peak summer months of May and June. So dew won't affect the bowling or batting sides.
