Holman, a Pennsylvania native, pitched for two seasons at Alabama, and one season at LSU.

Last week, Chase Burns, the Reds' top prospect and the second overall pick in the 2024 draft, impressed in his pro debut for the High-A Dayton Dragons.

This past weekend, Holman's Daytona teammate, catcher Alfredo Duno, doubled and homered in the Tortugas' win against Bradenton.
