Lucas Gourna-Douath moves to the Premier League

Transfer to Hull City​

Lucas Gourna-Douath has made a permanent move from FC Red Bull Salzburg to the English Premier League, having signed a contract with Hull City. The 23-year-old Frenchman joined our Red Bulls from St. Etienne in the summer of 2022, ultimately making 95 appearances (2 goals, 5 assists). He also played one match for our co-operation club, FC Liefering. In addition, the midfielder spent time on loan at AS Roma (spring 2025, 6 appearances) and Le Havre AC (spring 2026, 15 appearances) during his four years with our club.

Together with Lucas, we sought a solution that would work well for all parties. We are delighted that we have now found that with the move to Hull City. We wish him all the best and every success at his new club!
