It’s SEC Network takeover season, and LSU gets their turn starting late tonight. Each year, SEC Network takes time in July to re-air a bunch of games and events from each team to showcase highlights from the past season in athletics, and LSU’s takeover is up next. The featured broadcasts will be at 6:00 p.m. when the network re-airs the women’s basketball game against Texas Tech and at 8:00 p.m. when the network re-airs Will Wade’s introductory press conference.

LSU’s takeover begins at 11:00 p.m. when SECN re-airs LSU’s 25-0 drubbing of Auburn in softball. Next, the network will re-air the football win over Arkansas, and burying a football game at 1:00 a.m. is a great metaphor for how the season went. At 3:30 a.m., LSU’s women’s soccer win at Auburn gets rebroadcasted. At 5:30 a.m., LSU volleyball’s shocking upset of Florida gets re-aired. At 7:30 a.m., LSU’s second of three softball games gets shown as the network re-airs the March 28 upset win over Oklahoma.

At 9:30 a.m., one of LSU’s few men’s basketball highlights hits the airwaves as the win over Ole Miss gets rebroadcast. Following that at 11:30 a.m., the network re-airs the women’s basketball team’s upset win over Texas. LSU’s sole baseball highlight comes at 1:30 p.m. with a re-air of the SEC Tournament win over national champions Oklahoma. At 4:30 p.m., the network rebroadcasts the gymnastics win over Alabama. At 6:00 p.m., the network airs the women’s basketball tournament second round victory over Texas Tech in which LSU set the women’s basketball single-season 100-point games record. At 8:00 p.m., the network re-airs Will Wade’s re-introductory press conference followed by Lane Kiffin’s intro presser at 8:30. The takeover concludes at 9:00 p.m. with a re-air of LSU softball’s Baton Rouge Regional clincher against Virginia Tech.
