LSU baseball hits the road for another top-10 SEC matchup this weekend against No. 9 Auburn. The two teams start a three-game set on Friday.

The No. 3 Tigers completed a sweep of No. 9 Oklahoma last week, bringing their SEC record to 10-2. Led by ace Kade Anderson's five-hit complete game shutout in the series opener, LSU held the Sooners to four runs through three contests.

LSU ranks second in the conference with a .328 batting average and 371 hits. Jared Jones ranks second with 53 hits and fourth with 48 RBI. He rides a six-game hitting streak into the weekend. Derek Curiel (.522) and Daniel Dickinson (.510) rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in on-base percentage.

Following his career outing last week, Anderson leads the SEC with 47.1 innings pitched and ranks second with 75 strikeouts. He'll face a tough opponent in Auburn, which has the least amount of strikeouts among conference opponents.

At 6-6 in conference play, the Tigers are coming off a series win against Alabama following a four-game skid. They have seven players batting above .300. Cooper McMurray's 42 hits, 31 RBI and eight homers lead the team.
