May 29—Multiple area athletes put up big performances on the second day of the Section 1A meet in Triton Thursday.
Lyle-Pacelli's Clare Bisanti took fourth, but she ran the cut time in the 800-meter dash to earn a trip to state with her time of 2:22.57.
GMLOKS sophomore Tate Goergen earned his second straight trip to state in the 800-meter run when he took first, GMLOKS senior Chantle Reiland set a meet record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.43 seconds to get back to state and she also qualified in the 200-meter dash, GMLOKS's Zach Reiland earned a state berth in the 300-meter hurdles,
Blooming Prairie senior Owen Krueger clinched a trip to state in the discus after earning a trip to state in shot put on Wednesday.
