Meh... I know folks from Chicago and other deep-dish lovers place Malnatti's on a pedestal. However, as an Italian with firm roots back to the mother-land (just returned from a 2 week trip), I simply can't embrace this stuff they pass off as "pizza"...

You lucky bastards! Anytime I go to chicago I hit the LM. I much prefer their thin crust however. And the salads are great. Hope they keep coming west.

Thin crust is where it's at with any pizza. Cut into squares of course.

If by "thin crust" you mean a nice, thick, deep dish, Sicilian-type pizza, then yes, you are correct.

Just got back from Chicago on a work trip and Lous was the only place I had a deep dish.... I had the authentic with the buttercrust and it was amazing....I was told the way to have it was uncut that part was messy

Haven't tried that one. I've had Lou's and Giordano's and they were both really good.

I have had Giordanos that wasn't as good to be sure. The first time I had it, I didn't understand what the fuss was about. However, the best pizza I have ever had in my life was at a Giordanos in Orlando.

Chicago Deep Dish makes me sick. Too much cheese.

Coincidentally, "too much cheese" is not a phrase I ever believed in before I ate some Oreganos Chicago style deep dish.

Oreganos deep dish is the bombbbbbbbb. With the giant house salad.

Ragu with seasoning = I dont want your pizza. I made better sauce than that and I only play a chef on TV.
