For the first time since 1994, the U.S. Men's National Team will play a World Cup game on home turf. Or, to be more accurate, home soil.

That's because every stadium has been outfitted with new grass fields for the 2026 World Cup, including SoFi Stadium. SoFi has always had turf fields for Rams and Chargers games, but to meet FIFA guidelines, the pitch was replaced with a grass playing surface.

And it looks phenomenal.

Posts on social media show just how great SoFi looks ahead of U.S. vs. Paraguay on Friday night, with the sun shining through the translucent roof.

Fans in attendance for the USMNT opener against Paraguay will be in for a treat at SoFi Stadium, which has temporarily been renamed Los Angeles Stadium, for the World Cup. It won't host the World Cup, but welcoming the USMNT to Inglewood for their opening game is special.

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. PT from the Rams' home stadium.
