A football team occasionally gets a sophomore who makes an immediate impact.

Brighton has three who are among the top players at their positions in Livingston County.

Running back Dom Naus leads the county with 1,105 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns in six games. Only two other Livingston County players have reached 1,000 yards in six games or less, both from Fowlerville. Seth Simpson needed five games in 1991 and Ray Tyle reached the milestone in six games in 1997.

Sophomore quarterback Dom D’Agosta of Brighton is second in the county in passing yards and touchdown passes. Sophomore receiver Jamo Parsell is second in touchdown catches and third in receiving yards.
