Liverpool predicted XI v PSG: Mohamed Salah and Joe Gomez to start
Mohamed Salah didn’t even come off the bench last week as Liverpool succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, however, the outgoing Egyptian is expected to start in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final encounter this evening.
L’Équipe understands that Salah will start on the right with Hugo Ekitiké leading the line for Liverpool against his former club. Behind the Egyptian, the publication understands that it will be the more defensively-minded Joe Gomez who will get the nod over Jérémie Frimpong. Arne Slot is not expected to play with a back three, as he did in Paris last week. Alisson remains sidelined for the Merseyside club, as does Japan international Wataru Endo.
