Lions place TE Brock Wright on IR, make 2 other roster moves

The Lions made a couple of roster moves before Thursday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, including placing another tight end on injured reserve.

Brock Wright landed on injured reserve with a neck injury. He joins fellow tight end Sam LaPorta (back) on IR.

The Lions also announced the signing of cornerback Nick Whiteside to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated wide receiver Malik Cunningham from the practice squad for Thursday’s game.

Wright caught 14 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns this season. He is in his fifth season with the Lions.

Placed TE Brock Wright on Reserve/Injured.

Signed CB Nick Whiteside to the Active Roster from the Practice Squad.
