Early in the second quarter of their Christmas Day showcase at the Minnesota Vikings (7-8), the Detroit Lions (8-7) announced that starting defensive tackle Alim McNeill is questionable to return.
McNeill's status was in limbo heading into the contest from U.S. Bank Stadium. In the Lions' final injury report, McNeill was listed as questionable with an abdomen injury. But, McNeill was not among the Lions' inactives and started against the Vikings.
Now, his status in once again in limbo as the franchise announced that he is questionable to return with that abdomen injury.
