An 11 part even. I cannot wait for this to start.

Packed with excitement, revelation and entertainment – and stunning screen ‘firsts’ – this breathtaking ten-part blockbuster brings you 130 incredible stories from the frontiers of the natural world. Discover the glorious variety of life on earth and the spectacular and extraordinary tactics animals and plants have developed to stay alive. This is evolution in action; individual creatures under extreme pressure to overcome challenges from adversaries and their environment, pushing the boundaries of behaviour. Cutting-edge cinematic techniques capture unprecedented, astonishingly beautiful sequences – birds running and dancing on the water’s surface in dazzlingly intricate displays of courtship and fidelity, fish outwitting predators by using their fins to take flight, flies competing in a mesmerising eyeball inflation contest… More than four years in the making, filmed over 3,000 days, across every continent and in every habitat, this is Life – as you’ve never seen it before

Can't be any worse than Sigourney Weaver's narration of Planet Earth...can it?

I have hope for the DVDs as it is a BBC production, so maybe we can get a better narrator when they are released.

It might actually be. you could get Planet Earth with Attenborough(I have it) if you waited. I don't know if that's the case with Life?

So far she's VERY boring, the footage is spectacular as expected but the choice of narrator is just awful IMHO.

YES! There is a BluRay version that has Attenborough narrating it!

Great, I don't have Blu Ray but I would assume there's a DVD version with Attenborough too.

Loved the show although a couple of the episodes were a little boring for me, some of that stuff was amazing like the segment with the Tarsier monkeys they literally had a camera inside a hollowed out tree so you could see them come in and land on their perch to sleep.
