Not true. Davis had played guard in AZ and was signed to play the position in Dallas.

Levi is never going to get better and wasn't going be on the team next year. Save some on dead money and actually get something in return? With his porous play and ballooned contract, I thought he had no trade value. Goes to show that Keim can sell ice to an Eskimo.

How do you know it will be worse. His replacment happens to be a player that Arians has worked with since he entered the NFL and should have enough of a feeling on the kid to know if it will make us any worse.

As was pointed out earlier, the $4.3M in dead money next year (if we cut him after this year -- if that's an accurate number) might have been the most enticing thing for the Cards to make this move now.
