Barcelona have no shortage of young talent progressing through the club thanks to their incomparable La Masia academy but also continue to scour the world for the best youngsters on the planet.

According to Mundo Deportivo, there are five rising stars that Barcelona scouts have been filing good reports on and continue to monitor.

The players mentioned are: Lennart Karl, Kees Smit, Rodrigo Mora, Lewis Miley and Ibrahim Maza.

Karl has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Bayern Munich and was called up to the Germany squad for the World Cup but has since been ruled out through injury.

AZ star Kees Smit has already been linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid this season and been dubbed the ‘new Pedri’ after impressing in the Eredivisie.

Porto’s Rodrigo Mora has also made waves this season, while Lewis Miley is also highly-regarded but recently penned a new contract with Newcastle until 2032.

The last name on the list is Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza. The teenager will be in action during the World Cup for Algeria and is set to come up against Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the group phase.
