Detroit Tigers starter Tarik Skubal
As the season progresses, we're going to continue to look at each division around Major League Baseball and break them down and try to really get to the bottom of who is a contender and who is not.
Over the next week, we'll take a look at each division around the league with the simple question: Legit or fraud?
Detroit Tigers
Record: 19-23
Biggest Surprise: Detroit in general. The Tigers were supposed to be among the best overall teams in baseball. Instead, they are in last place in the division.
MVP: Kevin McGonigle: The rookie has been phenomenal. He shouldn't have to be the best player on the Tigers at such a young age, but that has been the case.
