The NFL has revealed which team legends will announce their franchise's picks on Day 2 of the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. Last year, it was Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green, now with the Washington Commanders. Green had some fun in the moment and remained busy, as Washington held five picks on Day 2.

Next week, it will be another superstar from Washington's glory days: wide receiver Gary Clark. A member of "The Posse" with Art Monk and Ricky Sanders, Clark spent eight of his 11 NFL seasons with the then-Redskins.

Washington currently has only one pick on Day 2: No. 61 overall. General manager Adam Peters will likely look to trade back to add more picks. If Peters can land more picks on Day 2, we'll see more of Clark.

Clark finished his NFL career with 699 receptions, 10,856 yards, averaged 15.5 yards per reception and caught 65 touchdowns. Clark won two Super Bowls in Washington and was named to John Madden's All-Madden team several times, alongside Jerry Rice. Several receivers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame have lesser numbers than Clark. However, with Monk in the Hall of Fame, Clark unfortunately appears to be a long shot. If you extrapolate Clark's numbers from that era to today, he'd be an unquestioned top-10 NFL wide receiver.

As for Clark's draft memory, well, it was a bit different. He was the No. 6 overall pick in the 1984 USFL draft and spent one season with the Jacksonville Bulls. In that same year, the Redskins used a second-round supplemental pick on Clark. He spent 1984 with the USFL before coming to the NFL in 1985.

Clark played high school football at Pulaski County High School in southwestern Virginia before starring at James Madison for his college career.
