The Los Angeles Lakers faced the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of their first round series, an elimination game for LeBron James and company.
Los Angeles entered the game down 3-1 in the first-round series, attempting to extend the matchup. Game 5 was played in Los Angeles, giving the Lakers a leg up to push the series to another game.
Before heading into the second half of the matchup, which saw the Lakers have deficit against the Timberwolves, James met a familiar face on the sideline.
The official social media account of the NBA posted an interaction between James and Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving, who was seemingly in attendance to support his colleagues.
Upon the release of the post, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the interaction between James and Irving.
"Here comes the Kyrie to Lakers rumors," said one fan.
"Kyrie to Lakers confirmed, LeBron's recruiting game is unmatched," said another fan.
"Kyrie showing LeBron that fake love for the cameras. Respect," mentioned one fan.
"Kyrie and Bron," commented one fan.
"Told kyrie he is retiring," said one fan.

Throughout the season, James has averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 assists and 8.2 assists history. Last game against the Timberwolves, a Game 4 loss to Minnesota, James recorded 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.
